Keegs Scilini

After a decade in liquor retail, I finally got off my backside and chased my dream career in radio where I've enjoyed a full time role for the past 5 years.

Starting my journey modestly at a community radio station in Bendigo, putting together my own music show while occasionally voicing sponsorship spots, The passion for radio was ignited! I signed up for the Advanced Radio course at the Radio Training Institute in Melbourne. After graduating, I landed my first full time role at Swan Hill's Mixx FM as an announcer and copywriter.

In May 2018, I transferred to Coast FM in Warrnambool where I was on the air across the Ace Radio Network from 1pm to 3pm. I've got my hands dirty in the social media side of the business as a part of the digital team where I helped spearhead highly engaging and entertaining content on Coast FM and 3YBFM's social media platforms.

 

When the time called, I ended up in audio production to the point where I could produce up a mean commercial or two from the basic concept for the campaign, through to writing, voicing and finally producing the audio to go to air.

In 2023 I eagerly accepted the role as Content Director at Ace Radio's Deniliquin station. I'm keen to help inspire and motivate the next generation of radio announcers.

When I'm not kicking around the halls of the radio station, I'm at home either catching up on whatever TV show I've been binging on, hanging out with my daughter or plotting my next move.
